Habyt launches new flexible living space in Tanjong Pagar

SLA pointed out Bethesda’s strong emphasis on community structure and connecting people with businesses as what gave its concept the winning edge. The first floor will feature 10 F&B offerings, whilst the 2nd level will certainly house a gym by Limitless, a wellness centre in partnership with Shiruki Studio, and a co-working room. Habyt’s Kada at Maxwell is on the 3rd floor.

Habyt has introduced a brand-new accomodation area at 5 Kadayanallur Street in Tanjong Pagar. The 18-room Kada at Maxwell is the flagship space for the operator’s Habyt Flex design, that represents a strategic broadening of the firm’s product offerings past extensive co-living.

Wong says Habyt Kada at Maxwell represents the company’s commitment to redefining versatile living in Singapore and notes its shift towards the next step of growth for Habyt Asia Pacific. Room rates at Kada at Maxwell is going to begin at $180 per day.

The site was awarded to Bethesda Medical, which sent a per month rental quote of $103,000, the third-highest quote cost after Wan Dormitory ($160,000) and The Working Capitol ($108,240).

A public tender to lease the property, now managed by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), was released in September 2023. The tender was evaluated based upon the bid price and the quality of the proposed idea, and SLA enticed bidders to consider creative way of living ideas.

In August, Habyt Asia Pacific CEO Jonathan Wong indicated that the firm was planning to add even more short living alternatives to its local lineup. The first real estates within the Habyt Flex idea are the 39-room Habyt Novena and the 27-room Habyt Kallang, both released in August. Other properties under the Habyt Flex concept include Habyt Cantonment and Owen Residence by Habyt.

The adaptable home lies within a preserved 1920s colonial building. The three-storey building, designed by the architectural firm Swan & Maclaren, was among the oldest modernist structures in Singapore. It was built to house the St Andrew’s Mission Hospital for Women and Children.

Locals of Kada at Maxwell will enjoy infinite and complimentary access to the property’s health and wellness amenities, including the performance health club, cold plunge, infrared saunas, jacuzzis and foot baths.

Kada at Maxwell are going to supply a range of openings, involving en suite studios and two- to three-bedroom units. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen space. Guests can book rooms on a nightly or every week basis, with a 12-month option also readily available.

“By mixing modern-day comforts with the timeless appeal of a heritage building, we’re offering guests an unique lifestyle journey that exceeds standard lodging,” includes Wong.
