Final two pandemic-delayed BTO projects completed: HDB

Positioned along New Punggol Road, Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) makes up 1,179 units of two-room flexi, three-, 4- and five-room flats across six home blocks. In 2024, HDB completed a total of 22 home ventures, 17 of which were postponed by the pandemic. With the exception of one that was delayed due to non-pandemic reasons, the standing 4 housing plans were accomplished on schedule.

As at Jan 15, 37 households or about 7% of 555 lined up units have gathered their keys.

The remaining projects had waiting times of as much as 5 years. In general, over 18,000 flats were completed in 2024, states HDB.

As at Jan 15, 657 homes or 59% of 1,109 lined up units have picked up their keys.
